Three Phases
CARING COMMUNITY
As a Caring Community, the church property becomes the hub of ministry for the community. This includes becoming a point of distribution for food, clothing, and shelter, providing a safe place for counseling, and/ or serving as a command center for 461 Response teams.
RESPONDING COMMUNITY
As a Responding Community, team members are deployed to provide resources and relief in critical incident situations. This includes cutting down trees, removing debris, delivering food and/or water, marking buildings, etc. Serving the community occurs in locations away from the church property as team members go to the areas that have been directly affected.
HEALING COMMUNITY
As part of a Healing Community, team members provide spiritual and emotional care to victims of critical incidents. This includes ministering to the police, fire, and/or EMT responders who may have secondary emotional, psychological, and spiritual effects from working with those directly affected by critical incidents.
